How is my data secured?


At Esendex we take our customers’ data and information security very seriously and as such we’ve taken a number of measures to protect all data to the highest standard .

We are ISO27001 accredited - an independent security standard for establishing, operating and improving Information Security Management. This provides a guarantee to customers that all of the processes and services conducted by us are performed with the highest standard of data security.

How long does it take for my message to be sent?


Almost instantly. We monitored our messaging system both internally and externally. We’ll then measure it against different network’s availability, performance, service incidents and planned maintenance to ensure it is consistently performing to excellence.

We are committed to, and often outperforming our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to processing 90% of messages within 5 seconds and 95% within 20 seconds to 98% and 99% within 5 and 20 seconds respectively.

What support is available?


We offer free of charge support during office hours with a dedicated team of technical support experts to help you on any queries you may have.

If you require extra support out of office hours, we also have a premium 24/7 support as a chargeable service.

Can I use alphanumeric sender ID in New Zealand?


Sender ID works according to different countries, so depending on the destinations of your messages, you maybe able to use an alphanumeric sender ID for your messages. For example, if you are sending text messages to Australian mobile numbers then yes, sender ID is available. However, if you are sending messages to New Zealand mobile numbers then sender ID is not available. Please get in touch if you want to find out more.

How much does it cost?


This varies. Our pricing structure works on a sliding scale. As such the more you buy, the cheaper it gets. You only pay for the SMS messages you sent, and a short code if you need to receive SMS replies. We don't change any setup fees. The platforms and all reports are also free of charge. Will I be tied into a contract?


Not necessarily and you have the say on this. We provide two payment options: Pre Pay or Pay Monthly. With Pre Pay there is no contract, you simply buy the messages in bundle and use them as you go. If you choose to pay monthly, you will be contracted month by month to pay for the messages you sent in the previous month. There is a minimum charge of AUD$25.00 on the monthly plan. And you can cancel at any time providing 30 days notice with your invoices being paid in full. Either way, you will only be paying for the messages you sent, nothing else.

The SMS short codes require contracted periods. Depending on the type of short codes you want we have different options. Please get in touch so that we can work out the best solution for you.

How long are Pre-Paid SMS messages valid for?


Messages are valid for 12 months.
